PEW is an opportunity to equip metro-area high school sophomores with an understanding of how to resolve conflicts, solve problems, share life experiences, develop empathy, think critically and work in diverse teams. Registration and lunch are at no-cost to schools attending.

P.E.W. equips high school sophomores with the skills and confidence to:

  • Build empathy and understand different perspectives
  • Resolve conflicts and communicate effectively
  • Think critically and solve problems
  • Learn from diverse experiences and perspectives
  • Work collaboratively with students from different backgrounds

PEW is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Chesed Fund (formerly the Murray H. & Sharee C. Newman Supporting Foundation), the Shirley & Leonard Goldstein Supporting Foundation, Speedy & Debbi Zweiback, Zoë & Carl Riekes.
