How to report an antisemitic and other hate incidents

Unfortunately, antisemitic and other hate incidents occur on a
regular basis in Omaha and the metro area. Antisemitic incidents reached
an all-time high in the United States in 2021, with a total of 2,717
incidents of assault, harassment and vandalism according to the ADL.
If you encounter an antisemitic or other hate incident, you are not
alone. Your first call should be to the Jewish Community Relations
Council (JCRC) in Omaha at 402-334-6572, or email
JCRCreporting@jewishomaha.org. Our office will contact law enforcement if necessary and report it to the ADL for data collection and additional support.
If an incident occurs in a school, we will contact administrators and
utilize our resources from the Jewish Federation, the Institute for
Holocaust Education, and the ADL.
