JCRC proactively combats antisemitism through our many educational and outreach initiatives and programs designed to reduce bigotry and ignorance about Jews and the Jewish community.

We serve as a resource and partner to schools, employers, law enforcement, and Jewish families as they navigate anti-Jewish incidents.

We promote accurate education about Jews, Judaism, Jewish history, and Israel in schools throughout the greater metropolitan area and by helping ESUs, districts, and individual schools with curricular materials they can trust in their classrooms. JCRC believes that education and constructive dialogue are the most effective ways to minimize hate, prevent violence, and reduce community division.

The JCRC uses the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s non-legally binding definition of antisemitism, as is the standard throughout most Jewish institutions.
