Circle Theater presents Hana’s Suitcase a play by Karen Levine, based on a true story that blends history and investigation. The play follows Japanese educator Fumiko Ishioka as she uncovers the life of Hana Brady, a young Jewish girl who died in the Holocaust. A suitcase belonging to Hana is at the heart of a powerful, true story that unites the past and the present, Tokyo and Toronto, and two remarkable individuals: Fumiko Ishioka and George Brady.
