Welcome to Omaha!
You are about to be introduced to one of the most exceptional Jewish communities in the country!
Our Jewish population of 8,880 strong is dedicated to making Jewish life in Omaha exciting and productive.
Omaha excels in raising campaign dollars, in missions to Israel, Jewish education, vibrant synagogues, athletics, teen programs and senior citizen activities.
Since the first Jews arrived in Nebraska in the early 1850s, we have been instrumental contributors to the growth of Omaha.
The Jewish Federation of Omaha was formed in 1903 and for more than 106 years has served as the hub of Jewish life in Omaha.
Our work supports various agencies, missions and educational programs working toward a single purpose... to involve Jews in meeting Jewish communal needs locally, nationally and in Israel.
Many of the services and programs sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Omaha are housed on our 37-acre campus located three blocks south of Dodge on 132nd Street.
When you see what we have to offer, you'll understand why it serves as the "Jewish neighborhood" for Omaha!
In addition, the following Federation agencies are headquartered on our campus:
The following partner organizations and services are also located on the campus:
