On Monday, April 27, the Jewish Federation of Omaha will launch a community survey designed to help us better understand how Jewish people across Omaha engage with Jewish life and community. This confidential survey is being conducted by CloudResearch, a professional research firm, in partnership with our Federation. Invitations will be sent via postcard, email (from “CloudResearch”) and text message (from a phone number with a 402-area code).
If you are invited to participate, I hope you’ll consider sharing your perspective. Your input will help guide how we strengthen belonging, connection, and community for today and for generations to come. Thank you for being part of Jewish Omaha and for lending your voice to this important effort.
For any additional questions, reach out to me or Stacy Feldman, sfeldman@jewishomaha.org.

In 2017, Jewish Omaha participated in a community study. The goal of this study was to identify the community’s strengths and develop projects and programs to address the needs of Jewish Omaha.
We collaborated with two highly experienced and trusted professionals:
• Dr. Ira Sheskin, Director of the Jewish Demography Project of the Sue and Leonard Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies of the University of Miami
• Dr. David Dutwin, Executive Vice President and Chief Methodologist of SSRS
Surveying was completed in January 2017. A total of 150,109 calls were made, 29,951 calls were answered to complete 552 surveys. We achieved above average participation with a response rate of 56% and a cooperation rate of 91%. If you participated, thank you.
