JCC Hosts Inclusive Sports Event

The Staenberg Omaha JCC, in partnership with the Violet Hour Foundation and Play It Forward, hosted an  inclusive sports camp on September 16th. The event welcomed autistic teens, young adults with significant support needs, and caregivers. Participants were paired with student coaches. Together they progressed through various sport activities according to the participant’s choice. The Staenberg Omaha JCC is proud to work with these fellow organizations to help create a community where inclusive means all ages and abilities.
