Who:  Jewish students ages 12-22

What:  Young Jewish Giving provides hands-on experience and education about philanthropy and non-profit organizations. YJG offers fun, social, energetic and insightful programming built around tzedakah, its importance in Judaism and the responsibility to engage in acts of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world. Teens learn firsthand about giving tzedakah by opening their own fund, practicing social action, and being part of a community that models leadership.

Why:  Young Jewish Giving empowers Jewish teens to make an impact in the world by giving tzedakah and supporting causes that are meaningful to them. Our goal is to inspire young  people to make a difference in the community by providing both the knowledge and resources to be able to do so.
