Usually served this at Thanksgiving dinner
This is always a part of Thanksgiving dinner and I was the one to make them… although I don’t have a formal recipe, this is close to what I usually do!

Sweet Potatoes
2 large cans of sweet
potatoes or yams
(Princella brand)
Brown sugar
1-2 cans chunk or crushed
pineapple or mandarin
Orange marmalade
Mini marshmallows*
Preheat oven to 325 degree
Take two large cans of sweet potatoes or yams, drain well and put into casserole dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and dot with butter. Add can(s) of pineapple (drained well) or mandarin oranges. Dot with orange marmalade. Bake slowly at 325 degrees for an hour to blend ingredients. Spoon off excess liquid, sprinkle mini marshmallows on top and bake another half hour until brown on top.
Serves 8-10.

*Ed. note: For the accompanying photo, we skipped the marshmallows.
