SUMMARY:Omaha Beit Midrash - Rabbi Mordechai Geiger
DESCRIPTION:2026-2027 Theme: Belonging\nJanuary 20\nRabbi Mordechai Geiger\, Beth Israel Synagogue\n \nFor centuries\, the Beit Midrash (“house of study”) has been the beating heart of Jewish life: a place to question\, debate\, and wrestle with ideas as a community. That tradition continues in Omaha’s Jewish community. \nEach month\, a different clergy member from our community synagogues leads a session on a topic that matters\, from Torah to ethics to history. Because our clergy spans different denominations\, every session offers a new perspective\, and you’ll leave with new insight and connections. \nThis is Jewish learning at its most authentic: communal\, challenging\, and open to everyone. \nMonthly classes will be held in person: \n\n3rd Wednesday\, 12:00-1:00pm\nStaenberg Omaha JCC\nLight kosher lunch served at every session\n\nRegister HERE. Registration Required.\nDrop in for one session or join us monthly. However you show up\, you belong here. \nStaenberg Omaha JCC\nExact location provided at check in \nAll guests must check in at the front desk upon arrival. The Jewish Federation of Omaha Security Team reserves the right to inspect all items brought onto the Staenberg Kooper Fellman Campus.
