DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Kelly Kirk\, Chair\, Institute for Holocaust Education \nKelly Kirk will lead a thought-provoking discussion on the complexities of intergenerational trauma\, drawing from her graduate research in Holocaust and Genocide Studies and her personal family history as all four of her grandparents were Holocaust survivors. Through her presentation\, participants will gain deeper insight into how trauma reverberates through generations and the ongoing process of resilience and remembrance.

No cost to attend.\nDrop in for one session\, or become a regular attendee – everyone is welcome. \nBeit Midrash (house of study) gives all of Jewish Omaha the opportunity to engage in spirited and challenging cross-denominational study with local rabbis and cantors. This space fosters discussion and friendly debate\, allowing students and teachers to share ideas and deepen their understanding of Jewish teachings.
