DESCRIPTION:The documentary movie How Saba Kept Singing tells the remarkable story of how Cantor David Wisnia survived the Holocaust and his journey back to Poland with his grandson Avi\, when they discover that someone else had a hand in David’s survival. The movie features music by both David Wisnia and Avi Wisnia\, plus a brand-new original song composed for the film. The screening program will include a live musical performance and discussion with Avi Wisnia.

The panel will be moderated by Nebraska State Senator John Fredrickson\, whose day job is a mental health provider and Adjunct Professor at Columbia University teaching the next generation of Social Workers. Panel of experts include Tony Green\, Nebraska DHHS Developmental Disabilities Director\, Teresa Drelicharz\, Jewish Family Service Executive Director\, and Heather Topil\, JFS Yachad Coordinator.
