SUMMARY:Omaha Beit Midrash: Cantor Joanna Alexander
DESCRIPTION:June 17 | Cantor Joanna Alexander of Temple Israel\n12:00-1:00 pm\nAll sessions are held at the Staenberg Omaha JCC. Light Kosher lunch served at each session. No cost to attend.\nDrop in for one session\, or become a regular attendee – everyone is welcome. \nBeit Midrash (house of study) gives all of Jewish Omaha the opportunity to engage in spirited and challenging cross-denominational study with local rabbis and cantors. This space fosters discussion and friendly debate\, allowing students and teachers to share ideas and deepen their understanding of Jewish teachings. Such a communal learning environment is essential for personal growth and the preservation of Jewish traditions. \nDuring each Beit Midrash\, a different clergy member from our community synagogues will select and present a pertinent topic of their choice. \nREGISTER HERE\nYou may fill out this form as many times necessary to register for additional dates. \nQuestions? Contact Naomi Fox\, Director of Community Engagement & Education\, at nfox@jewishomaha.org or 402.334.6424.
