SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

The Center for Jewish Education administers a wide variety of scholarship and grant funds that provide financial assistance for undergraduate and graduate studies, preschool, Jewish residential camps, Israel trips, youth group activities, Friedel Jewish Academy, and adult education.  Scholarships are awarded on a financial-need basis.  Grant programs have separate requirements, which are listed on the grant application form and are not financial-need based.

The
CornerStones
Fund

A wealth of opportunities await Omaha's Jewish children including preschool, day school, summer camp and youth programs.  Sadly, not all families can afford to have their children participate.

The CornerStones Fund provides scholarships for Jewish youth to attend the Pennie Z. Davis Child Development Center, Friedel Jewish Academy, Jewish youth programs and Jewish summer camps.  Scholarships are awarded by the Financial Aid Commitee, a committee of the Center for Jewish Education, an agency of the Jewish Federation of Omaha.

All donations are tax-deductible and can be made by calling 334-6445.  Tribute cards are also available, with a minimum donation of $10.  Checks should be made payable to the "CornerStones Fund" and mailed to the Center for Jewish Education, 333 South 132 Street, Omaha NE  68154.
