Daisy is a seventh-grade Honor Roll student at Westside Middle School. She is also a member of Westside’s Excellence in Youth Program.
Her interests include acting, singing, writing, reading, photography, and stand-up comedy.
For her mitzvah project, Daisy chose to volunteer with Nebraska Medicine’s pediatric patients. “I just want to make them happy,” she said. She and an eight-year-old girl — also named Daisy — FaceTimed, shared stories, laughs, and agreed that birthday cake ice cream’s the best. Daisy also assisted in Nebraska Medicine’s Public Relations office, wrote a blog, and assembled gift boxes for hospitalized kids, for their birthdays, and for a pick-me-up.
She has two sisters, Terra Goulden and Gracie Gillespie.

Late great-grandparents include Inez and Philip Panfiel, Paula and Joseph Hoffman, Jesse and Rebecca Goldberg, and Ida and Jimmy Friedman.
