6.26.15 Issue

Judy R. Cohn passed away on May 31 at age 79 in Northridge, CA. Services were held on June 3 in Tampa, FL and performed by Rabbi Joshua Hearshen. She was interred in Tampa, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Stickgold.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Maureen Cohn of Tampa, FL; nephews and nieces, Levi and Shira Cohn of Coral Springs, FL and Jamie Cohn Frank and Menashe Frank of Hollywood, FL.

Judy was born in Omaha to Bennett and Anne Cohn (of Blessed Memory) and attended The University of Oklahoma at Norman and The University of Nebraska at Omaha, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She was employed by the School District of Los Angeles from 1963 until her retirement in 2005. Judy spent the last fifteen years of her career as the Librarian and Library Media Teacher at Granada Hills Charter High School.
