Stuart Richard “Dick” Rochman passed away on Dec. 7 at age 80. Services were held Dec. 10 and following a private burial at Beth El Cemetery, Rabbi Steven Abraham conducted a memorial service at the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harry Rochman and Jean Goldberg (Wohlner) Rochman; and brother, Judson Rochman.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Tammy Rochman of Sacramento, CA, and Daniel and Sayaka Rochman of Falls Church, VA; daughter and partner, Julie Rochman and Sandra Palmer of Tampa, FL; grandchildren: Andrew, Sara, Thomas, Natalie, and David; and  partner, Rocky Stern.

He was a graduate of Central High School; attended University of Oklahoma and graduated from Omaha University. He worked with his parents at their Benson Furniture Mart, and then embarked on a long career as a salesman. He was a volunteer leader of MainStreeters and the Nebraska Jewish Historical Society.

Memorials may be made to the Nebraska Jewish Historical Society and the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home.
