Practice

All practices will be led by the team's Head Coach in a fun and structured environment. Coaches will instruct on the fundamentals of the game and skill development. As the season progresses, Coaches will evaluate and provide feedback to the players. Practices are mandatory. A parent meeting will be held 30 minutes before practice starts on beginning practice date.

strength & Speed Clinics

Strength and Speed Clinics focus on developing a young athlete’s performance. JCC coaches will lead the players in developing proper techniques in running, jumping, and agility. Performance drills and nutrition education are vital tools to decrease sports related injuries and improve athlete performance. While clinics are optional, it is strongly encouraged that players take advantage of the additional practice time.

scrimmage Clinics

Scrimmage Clinics are designed to allow the players more opportunities to play the game of basketball. This clinic will be coordinated to have the players develop a better understanding of team basketball. JCC coaches will provide feedback and give the players more extensive knowledge of how to play the game of basketball.

Skill Clinics

Skill Clinics are coordinated and led by JCC coaches. Clinics are a great way to compliment team practices and give players an opportunity to enhance their development for competition. While clinics are optional, it is strongly encouraged players take advantage of this additional practice time. Private lessons are available during the fall/winter season.

Open Gym

Players are invited to attend the multiple open gym times scheduled during each week. They will have the ability to practice their skills individually and with their peers. Open gym time is not structured. It is designed for the players to work on their skill set, interact with their peers and to have FUN.
