Sports Camps are designed to engage children in
physically active and fun programs, while developing new sport specific
skills and sharpening existing talents. Sports Camps registration fees

June 5-9 | College All-Stars Basketball Camp Grades: K-8 | code: 17-0605
Campers will have a blast playing and learning basketball alongside some
of the region’s most talented collegiate players. This popular camp,
led by JCC coaches and local collegiate basketball players, teaches the
fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, passing, defense and
rebounding. Each day will have games and competitions. Parents are
invited to attend our end of week awards ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on
Thursday, June 8 in the gymnasium.
June 12-16 | College All-Stars Soccer Camp Grades: K-8 | code: 17-0612
Get your kicks at College All-Stars Soccer Camp! Campers will be taught
by current and former collegiate soccer players to learn the game basics
of footwork, agility, and more. Campers will be divided into groups
based on age for appropriate skill level drills. Each day will include
mini-matches, drills, and fun games. Camp is held on the JCC soccer
fields. Parents are invited to join us at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June
16th for an awards ceremony at the JCC soccer fields.
June 19-23 | JCC Cheer Camp Grades: K-6 | code: 17-0619
Two, four, six, eight – it’s Cheer Camp and we can’t wait! JCC Cheer
Camp will pump up your team spirit. Campers can join local high school
and college level Cheer & Dance Team members. Campers will learn
basic team cheers, dance moves, cheer formations, voice projection, and
much more. Parents are invited to the Final Pep Rally at 11:30 a.m. on
Friday, June 23rd in the gymnasium.
June 26-30 | College All-Stars Volleyball Camp Grades: K-6 | code: 17-0626
Get ready to bump, set, and spike up some fun. Campers will receive
individualized instruction from local collegiate volleyball players.
This is the perfect opportunity to improve skills and learn new tips and
tricks. Each day will include mini-matches, drills, and games. Parents
are invited to join us at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 30th for an end of
the week awards ceremony in the gymnasium.
July 10-14 | JCC Active Sport Camp Grades: K-6 | code: 17-0710
Get ready for a challenge! Active Sports Camp will explore sports like
ice skating, bowling, roller skating, and more! Campers will learn new
fun gym games and how to make healthy snacks. Campers will also travel
off the JCC campus for cool sport experiences. Transportation is
July 17-21 | JCC Triple Threat: Run, Bike, Swim Grades: 2-8 | code: 17-0717
Learn the proper forms of swimming, cycling, and running! Triple Threat
Camp will help kids gain an understanding of how a triathlon works. JCC
coaches, along with special guest coaches, will be on hand to lead fun
games, obstacle courses, and provide instruction. Triple Threat campers
should be prepared to leave their bike at the JCC for this week. Bikes
will be stored in a secure place. Parents are invited come cheer on
their triathlete at the JCC mini triathlon on Friday, July 21st at 11:15
July 24-28 | JCC Wide World of Sports Camp Grades: K-6 | code: 17-0724
Experience one of the JCC’s most exciting sports camps this summer: Wide
World of Sports Camp. Campers will receive training in the fundamentals
of basketball, tennis, flag football, swimming, and much more! Camp is
designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of sports. All
athletes will work on building sound fundamentals and techniques through
fun and noncompetitive experiences. Special coaches will be in
attendance to assist the JCC coaches. Kids in Wide World of Sports Camp
should bring their swimsuit with them each day.
July 31 - August 3 | JCC Lions Basketball Camp Grades: 2-8 | code: 17-0731
Join coaches from the JCC and the greater Omaha area for the NEW JCC
Lions Basketball Camp. Campers will experience high intensity skill
training with an emphasis on ball handling, shooting, finishing moves,
1-on-1 attack series, and position-specific drills. JCC Lions Basketball
Camp runs Monday through Thursday and is held in the gymnasium.
