Phil Sokolof Fitness Center

The Phil Sokolof Fitness Center is available for all members, 13 and older. This recently refreshed facility includes “state-of-the-art” weight and aerobic equipment, spinning and group exercise studios, and an indoor running/walking track. Learn more about our equipment here

Our staff provide each member with two quick and easy orientations to help get you acclimated to our Fitness Center. Session one will give you the “ins and outs” of the equipment along with our policies and procedures. Session two is designed to help you with your form and technique. Both orientations are FREE of charge, and each will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes to complete. Teens ages 13–16 must go through a mandatory orientation to ensure a safe and effective workout.

Fitness Assessment:
A 45-60 minute evaluation to determine your overall fitness level. Each member is entitled to one FREE assessment every 6 months. This is a great way to set goals and measure your fitness progress.

Fitness Assessment Evaluation includes:

• Resting Heart Rate
• Resting Blood Pressure
• Body Composition (Fat%) Measurement
• Circumference Measure
• Body Weight/Height Measurement
• Sub-Max Cardio Test
• Flexibility
• Muscular Strength/Endurance

Blood Pressure Checks:
Stop by the Fitness Center office and have your blood pressure monitored and recorded. This is a free service to all our members.

Locker Rentals
Why lug all of your workout and swim gear back and forth? For as little as $10 per month for a half size, or $15 per month for a full size, you can have the convenience of knowing that everything you need is already here and safely stored in your own space with a combination lock! Fitness Center Orientation For Teens
Those ages 13 - 16 are invited to our Fitness Center Orientation for Teens. Participants will learn about workout safety and injury prevention. Teens need to successfully complete one orientation session to be granted independent access to the Fitness Center. Schedule a time. Contact one of the Fitness Center Trainers at (402)334-6423.
