We offers many programs, workshops, and events to assist you on your health and fitness journey.



Are you up for the challenge? They are fun and easy to join! Complete the monthly tasks and win great prizes. Challenges will be designated as "app" or "non app". To receive credit for app based challenges, all workouts MUST be tracked through the app! (see below)

January - December 2019 |  Training Challenge  (non app)
Workout with a Personal Trainer 100 times in 2019 and earn a JFit t-shirt as well as $20 J Bucks!  No need to register. Your sessions will be tracked as you use them.

January - March  |  40 Mile Spin Club  (non app)
Can you ride 40 miles in one workout? Check-in with either your spin instructor or a trainer on the floor and let them know you’re going after the 40 miles. Complete 40 miles in one workout and you’ll earn a J-Fit t-shirt.

February  |  Cardio for Your Heart  (app)
Help us celebrate heart health in February by earning 600 minutes of cardio.
All forms of cardio count (waking, jogging, swimming, biking), all cardio must be logged via the app. Earn 600 minutes and win a J-Fit Shirt and JCC water bottle. Register through the Omaha JCC app.

March  |  Spring Into Veggie  (non app)
Spring into veggies with vegetable BINGO. Get five in a row and earn a J-Fit shirt plus 30 minutes of nutrition counseling with Heather Bucksner. Register for this challenge at Member Services.

How to Join an App Based Challenge
1) Download the FREE Omaha JCC App from the App Store or from the Google Play Store.
(Search for “Omaha JCC” by Netpulse.) Install the app on your mobile device.
2) Quickly and easily set up your account.
3) Once installed, log in to the OMAHA JCC App and go to the "challenges" tab.
4) Select the current challenge you would like to participate in. Once you’re in, all you need to do is track your workouts through the app. To receive credit for app based challenges, all workouts MUST be tracked through the app!



Sunday, March 10  |  9:00 a.m.
Create a team and take on the challenge of a indoor Sprint Triathlon. Teams of three will compete in an 800 yd swim, 12 mile bike ride on the spin bikes, and 3 mile walk/jog/run on the treadmills. All participants will receive a J-Fit T-shirt. The fastest team will receive a $75 prize!

There will be six teams per wave, first wave starts at 9:00 a.m. and then every 30 minutes after that. Teams will start with the swim portion, progress to the bike and finish with the treadmill.
