Meet the FITNESS CENTER STAFF

Breann Lundblad, Fitness Center Director
Breann comes to the J with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from UNO and a Master's Degree in Health Promotion Management from Nebraska Methodist College. Most recently, Breann was the Fitness Director at the Southwest YMCA. She has spoken at local universities, researched and purchased fitness equipment, coordinated membership appreciation events, and planned membership marketing and engagement strategies.



Andrea Bethune, Personal Trainer
Andrea’s mission is to motivate, educate, and assist clients of all ages and abilities. She enjoys helping members remain healthy and active. Andrea holds a BS in Rec. Sports Mgmt. and is certified with NASM – CPT, TRX, ACE Group Fitness, Youth Sports Fitness.





Heather Bucksner, Personal Trainer

Heather’s favorite part of fitness is introducing people to new exercises and challenges that are unique and unexpected. Her goal is to motivate people to look at fitness with a fresh perspective and open mind. Heather is an NASM-CPT, and an ACE Group Fitness Instructor.  She also holds a specialty certification for TRX and Youth Fitness.



Terry Bueltel, Personal Trainer
Terry earned his degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and is also a certified spinning instructor. Terry has worked with all kinds of clients, from high school athletes to individuals of all ages and ability levels, meeting their fitness goals.



Ed Heller, Personal Trainer

Ed’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise & Sports Science from Iowa State University. He also carries a certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Through the years Ed has had the opportunity to help develop and design programs for members of all age groups and abilities.



Ben Knauss, Personal Trainer

Ben believes exercise and life are all about progression. He wants to help members achieve their next level of fitness. Ben holds a BS in Exercise Science and is certified as a ACE CPT, Yoga Fit Level 1, Delay the Disease Instructor, Livestrong Instructor, and a Registered boxer.




Maggie Thomas, Personal Trainer 

Maggie Thomas is a graduate of Wayne State College where she majored in Exercise Science and Psychology. She is ACSM certified and joins the JCC staff as a Personal Trainer. Maggie is passionate about health and wellness. She enjoys spending time in the gym, in exercise classes, weight training, and exercising outdoors. She is excited to share her knowledge with the JCC members.



PILATES


Meg Lee, Certified Pilates Instructor

Meg holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science & Wellness and is certified in Mat Pilates and reformer Pilates. Meg has been teaching Pilates reformer for 12 years. She believes that Pilates is for EVERYONE and looks forward to helping JCC Members transform with Pilates. She can be reached at (402) 350-1740 or mlee@jccomaha.org



Holly Smith, Certified Pilates Instructor

Holly is a certified Pilates Instructor. She completed Pilates Mat and Reformer training through Balance Bodies. Pilates is a form of exercise she loves to teach because it is physically challenging, increases body awareness, and helps make everyday movement easier and more efficient. She’s excited to working with members of all ages and levels.
