JCC Members Ages: 16+
Challenge yourself to overhaul your daily habits and take steps towards a healthier lifestyle with our Challenge to Change weight loss competition! The participant that loses the most weight will win a $100 credit towards a JCC program or service*! Participants will work on establishing healthy habits and taking off any extra pounds they want to shed. Our Fitness Center staff is excited to help participants reach their weight loss goals by providing motivation, accountability, and resources. You can do it! Hurry! Registrations are due July 7th!
*Credit cannot be applied to membership.

Motivational & Informational Emails

“In December I noticed the poster hanging up in the gym for the Challenge to Change competition that was beginning in January. I decided I would take the challenge for a couple of reasons. I needed some major motivation and I loved the fact that they had weekly weigh ins. It kept me accountable. I also felt I was in a rut with my exercise routine. Around the middle of February I started working with Ed. He taught me more efficient exercises than what I had been doing. I became more motivated as time went on. Congratulations to the spring 2015 JCC Challenge to Change Winner: Christina Boje  
We also want to send a big congratulations to Christina Boje, our latest JCC Challenge to Change winner! The Challenge to Change kicked off on January 12th and ended April 13th. Participants had three months to work on establishing healthy habits and losing weight. Our Fitness Center staff helped participants work towards their weight loss goals by providing motivation, accountability, and resources. Christina lost the most weight with a total of 8.5 lbs. As the winner, she will receive a $100 credit towards a JCC program or service. Since joining the JCC in June of 2014, Christina has lost a total of 50 pounds. In addition to tracking her calories, Christina works out 3-4 times per week, including personal training with JCC Personal Trainer, Maggie Warrick. Way to go, Christina! Keep up the good work.
