Sunday, December 8th
Due to the currently extremely cold weather, chance of snow, and for everyone's safety we have decided to move the walk/run indoors. We have two tracks indoors that can be used. The fitness center track is 12 laps for a mile and carpeted one above the gym requires 14 laps for a mile or if you prefer we also have multiple treadmills that you may use.

Registration and check-in will be from 9:00-9:30 am in the canteen area. Refreshments and bagels will be served in the canteen after you complete the walk/run.

Chanukah, the 8 day holiday rejoicing the miracle that enabled the Jewish people to survive, is a celebration of freedom over oppression and light over darkness. To commemorate that victory for religious freedom and the defeat of tyranny, the Monsky Lodge, along with the JCC, presents the 2013 Chanukah "Torch Run". The theme of this year's event is "Freedom From Terrorism."

All community members are encouraged to join in. The B'nai B'rith Chanukah Torch Run is not a competitive race, and you do not have to be a runner to participate. Two, four, and six mile routes will be available. Registrations will be taken up until the day of the event.
