Bring your own beverage and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere to learn how to knit. These lasses at the J are great for beginners or knitters that need a refresher course. Knitting 101, the introductory class, is required before taking more advanced classes.

Classes will be taught by Becky Shipman. Classes will be held in the Federation Classroom. (Enter the JCC Main Entrance, turn right at the main hallway towards the Fitness Center. The Federation Classroom is the last room on the left, across from Fit N Sit.)

KNITTING 101: Scarf (2 classes)
No classes are currently offered. Check back soon for additional dates.

KNITTING 102: Hat (2 classes)
Learn the skills needed to make a hat. Completion of Knitting 101 is required to take this class. If you have not taken Knitting 101 but currently have an established knitting practice and are familiar with the basics of knitting, please consult the instructor.

• At least 150 yards of "worsted weight" yarn
• 16" long circular needles
• Double pointed needles
Note: Needles should coordinate with yarn size. Most likely size 8-10.
