From historical and educational exhibits to beautiful displays of local, national, and international art, the Jewish Community Center Gallery host a wide array of content. Located just next to the JCC Theater, the Gallery provides individuals an excellent opportunity to immerse themselves on culturally enriching exhibitions. Exhibits cycle through on a monthly basis, providing a constant stream of new material. The Jewish Community Center Gallery is open to the public. Admission is free.

Current & upcoming Exhibits

OCTOBER  |  Holocaust Children by Elisa Morera Benn

Through this exhibit of acrylic paintings, Benn explores the ongoing impact of the Holocaust and how it has affected many people, in many countries, at many times. This exhibition is dedicated to those children who survived, but struggle to live with these experiences. The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Sunday, October 8th from 2:00 -5:00 p.m.

NOVEMBER | Dwellings & Highlights by Fiber Works

During the month of November, Fiber Works will be displaying artwork created for their group challenges“Dwellings” and “Highlights”.“Dwellings” challenged members to make a piece around any type of habitat. “Highlights” challenged members to place a narrow yellow highlight line across the fiber art piece in a creative way. Fiber Works artists include: Jo Drueke, Sheila Green, Merrilee Hansen, Dorothy Heideman-Nelson, Cynthia Levis, Karen Murphy, Cindi Pape, Peg Pennel, Roxann O’Hare, Lynne O’Rourke, Marilyn Rembolt, and Pat Stava. The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Sunday, November 12th.
