Swim Lessons and Programs
YEAR ROUND Swim & Dive team
JCC Members, ages 5-18
, are invited to join the JCC Swim & Dive Team. All Swim Team Members must have who have passed Level 5 Swim Lessons. Participants will build technique, endurance and speed, all
while improving as a swimmer. Call the Aquatics Department at (402)
334-6473 for help determining your child’s skill level. Classes will not be prorated if participant is absent. Click here

Group Swim Lessons
Small Group Swim Lessons provide JCC Members of all ages
and swimming abilities the tools they need to improve their skills. Classes are taught by trained JCC staff using American Red Cross swim lessons. Each session is 8 lessons and 30 minutes long. Call 402-334-6473, to set up a FREE swim evaluation if you are unsure of your child’s skill level. Your child will get an evaluation card at the end of each session. Click here

Special Needs Adaptive Swim Lessons
Swimming lessons tailored to fit our special needs members of varied abilities. The 30 minute lessons are one-on-one with an experienced adaptive lesson instructor. Coupons for Adaptive Lessons can be purchased at the Member Services Desk. Contact the Aquatics Department for more information. Lessons are open to JCC Members of all ages
Parent & tot Swim
Toddlers, ages 6 months - 2 years, and their parents
will be introduced to the pool while learning and practicing child water safety. Classes are held in our heated baby pool. Activities depend on age and include motor skill repetition, balance, face in the water and some underwater activity. Children must wear a swim diaper. Click here

Polliwogs introduces young children, ages 2-3
, to group experiences in the water. Activities include specialized pool games, instructional swim and supervised play time. Swim diapers are required if your child is not potty trained. Click here

American Red Cross Training
The JCC offers American Red Cross Training to Members and Non Members, ages 15+
. Certification is obtained upon passing the necessary test put forth in the American Red Cross guidelines. Click here

FREE Group Exercise
JCC Members, ages 16+ are encouraged to join in our FREE Group Exercise classes. Click here for more information on our free Water Fitness classes or visit the Group Exercise page of the website.
(Low-Moderate Intensity) Use water as your resistance for a great
workout! Instructors guide you through varying cardio and strength
exercises utilizing foam tubes & water weights. A great workout
without stress on your joints.
(Moderate Intensity) Set to Latin music, and in the water, this class
offers a challenging workout with cardio and body-toning and is
exhilarating beyond belief.
(Low-Moderate Intensity) Pilates and Water Aerobics combine for a total
body work out like no other! Come see for yourself. Poolaties will
strengthen your core and have you coming back for more!
