E-News - Feb. 17, 2017

February 17, 2017  |  21 Sh'vat 5777

From our CEO...
It's been an eventful two weeks since our last enewsletter chat.  I spent a week in Israel with multiple rocket launches (fired from Gaza into southern Israel, fired from the Sinai into Eliat and intercepted by the Iron Dome, and a terrorist attack in Petach Tikvah).  Not to worry, they all missed me!  Prime Minister Netanyahu spent a few days in America.  You can watch the video of the press conference here. There were several inches of snow in Omaha, now Israel has the snow and we have the warm sunshine.

And speaking of warm sunshine, earlier this week the Pew Research Center released a new study titled Americans Express Increasingly Warm Feelings Toward Religious Groups .  And yes, you guessed it - Jews continue to receive the warmest ratings especially from 30 - 64 year olds!  Check out the study.   I find this very heartening especially since the latest reports on anti-Semitic incidents are on the rise.  I will take this positive study news to heart.

Please read more about my visit to Israel here.

 Shabbat Shalom,
Alan
