The iconic scene of Tevye pulling his cart through the mud as the villagers are driven from Anatevka did not end the story of Fiddler on the Roof for actress and writer Alexandra Silber. In her novel, After Anatevka, Silber continues with her fictional tale of two characters, second-oldest daughter Hodel and her radical husband Perchik. At this year’s author luncheon, Silber will share how her long-standing journey of love with Fiddler inspired her in the crafting of this work.
